Reflexology with Martha
A Sacred Blend of Inner Listening, Healing, and Integration
If you’ve been feeling called inward — toward the quiet voice of your body, your truth, your healing — you are in the right place. Psychedelic journey sitting is a sacred offering I now provide for existing clients who are ready to explore the deeper layers of the self in a safe, supported, and therapeutic container.
Why Psychedelic Sitting?
This work is often described as “ten years of therapy in a single day.” It’s not magic, but it is meaningful. Psychedelics gently open a door to the subconscious — a place where emotions, memories, and truths are stored — and allow us to meet ourselves with a depth that is difficult to access through talk alone.

But here’s the truth: healing is never a one-and-done thing. It’s not a quick fix. Psychedelics are not a magic bullet — they are one powerful tool among many. Real healing takes time, practice, intention, and the support of a holistic care team — from medical doctors to massage therapists, nutritionists, and beyond.

Your body already knows how to heal. Our job is simply to give it the space and support to do what it does best.

A Thoughtful Blend of East and West
This offering is rooted in a blend of Eastern and Western wisdom. I draw from modern psychedelic research (including studies conducted by Johns Hopkins University and MAPS on MDMA-assisted therapy for PTSD) as well as grounding, body-centered practices like reflexology.

When appropriate, I incorporate reflexology into your journey — a gentle, non-verbal way to soothe and support your nervous system, help emotions move, and keep you connected to your body.

This pairing is intentional. Just as psychedelics open the inner landscape, reflexology brings balance and regulation to the physical body. Together, they offer deep access to both the psyche and soma — and remind us that healing happens on many levels.
Set and Setting: Creating a Safe and Sacred Space
As those who study psychedelics know, set and setting — your mindset and your physical environment — are essential to a meaningful journey.

My space is designed to be calm, quiet, nurturing, and private. You’ll be fully supported and never alone. Your comfort, emotional safety, and well-being are held as the highest priority.

I typically use the Johns Hopkins psilocybin research playlist, which is clinically curated to support a meaningful, therapeutic experience. Other similar playlists will also be incorporated.

Because safety is my top priority, this offering is only available to current clients, and those who:

My Qualifications
Holding space for a psychedelic journey requires deep presence, emotional steadiness, and informed care. My approach is rooted in both formal training and lived experience.

I bring to this work:
-
Completion of the "Facilitating Psychedelic Experiences" course with Maps of the Mind, which emphasizes preparation, safety, integration, and non-directive support during altered states.
-
Completion of the "Microdosing Mastery" course from Maps of the Mind, with a focus on intentional, low-dose use for emotional resilience, creativity, and healing.
-
Over 20 personal psychedelic journeys, offering me a grounded understanding of both the beauty and challenge of these states.
-
Participation in a traditional ayahuasca retreat at Gaia Sagrada in Ecuador, learning directly from indigenous-inspired ceremony and plant medicine tradition.
-
Medical training: I hold an M.D. and spent 10 months at Munson Medical Center in hospital and clinic settings. While I do not practice clinical medicine, I carry that foundation into this work to help ensure your physical and emotional safety.

My goal is to provide a safe, grounded, and compassionate container for your experience.
Research That Informs This Work
I honor the research being done by pioneers in the field. If you're curious to read more:

These studies show remarkable outcomes for individuals dealing with PTSD, depression, and other trauma-related challenges — with lasting improvement in symptoms, emotional resilience, and quality of life. My work is not clinical therapy, but it is inspired by these frameworks.
The Journey Is Yours
Whether you're seeking release, insight, peace, or something you can’t yet name, this experience is an invitation to sit gently with yourself.

The journey is yours. I am simply here to hold the space — to offer tools, grounding, and presence. If this feels aligned for you, I invite you to reach out.
